Deanna "Dee" Faye Hlad, 76, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (October 15, 2024) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.
She was born April 29, 1948 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Raymond Johnson and Helen (Sarchet) Johnson.
Dee was the owner of Spring Valley Campground and also worked for Columbia Gas.
She enjoyed singing and writing songs. She enjoyed her church, family, and horses.
Dee was member of the Solid Rock Church of Cambridge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Johnson.
Dee is survived by her husband, Edward Allen Hlad, whom she married December 29, 1967; her daughter, Anna Michelle Hlad Kolonchuk and her husband, Ray Kolonchuk; her son, Steven Edward Hlad and his wife, Amy Schupbach Hlad; her grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Kevin (Destiny) Hlad, Zachary Kolonchuk, Andrew Kolonchuk, Cassandra Kolonchuk, Taylor Hlad, and Alyssa Kolonchuk; her great-grandchildren, Kolt Hlad and Kade Hlad; her siblings, Dannie (Denise) Johnson, Dennis (Suellen) Johnson, Daren Johnson, and Darla (Duke) McElroy; her sister-in-law, Sally Johnson; and several nieces & nephews.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (October 19, 2024) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Stop 9 Church of Christ, Byesville, where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Harper officiating.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions in Dee's name to the Solid Rock Church, 831 Sherman Avenue, Cambridge OH 43725.
