Deborah Ann Duda passed away August 25,2024 after a long battle with illnesses. She was born March 29,1953 in Dunmore, Pa. Soon after, she was adopted by her loving parents John and Olga Duda. She loved her animals, her family and the Yankees. Before losing her sight from a stroke, she was an avid golfer, winning multiple trophies. Debbie was also an LPN at Pecks Nursing Home. She had the two best friends anyone could have, Ann and Dolores. She lived with Dolores for 40 years before Dolores passed away December 2023. Debbie never had children of her own, however she did help raise her best friend's children. She became Aunt Deb/Little Grandma to Dolores' grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, watching the Pennsylvanian Polkas, and to visit family at Camp Moshava. Debbie was a child at heart. She would cause shenanigans with all the children she was around. Debbie was loved by all and hated by none. She will be greatly missed. Preceding in death are her parents. Her brother John Duda. Nephews, Raymond and Scott Batzel. Also Kyle Smith. Surviving sister in law Sara Duda, Nephews and niece Chris, Kevin, Paula and Leila. Brother Randy (Caroline) Flemming. Godchildren, Brennen and Maressa Boots. Best friend Ann Pataky. Many nieces and nephews on Dolores' side. A memorial will take place September 14th at the White Mills Fire Hall at 1pm. Donations can be made to the Dessin Animal Shelter.
