Debra Sue Buell, daughter of the late Johnny Watkins and Montene (Lockhart) Watkins was born on August 18, 1962 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed her life suddenly on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the age of 62 years.
She was a graduate of Kelley Highschool, employee of Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) for 12 years, and a Homemaker. Mrs. Buell was a member of the Morley Church of God and a resident of Oran, Missouri. Debbie enjoyed spending time gardening with her husband. She also enjoyed spending her days with her six grandchildren. They were the light of her life.
On November 14, 1981 she was united in marriage to Leroy Buell, Jr. in Oran, Missouri. Mr. Buell survives of the home in Oran.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Leroy (Natalie) Buell III of Kelso, Missouri; one daughter, Tina (Matthew) Trost of Chaffee; one brother, Johnny (Lisa) Watkins, Jr. of Benton; one sister, Amanda (Robert) Hanson of Arlington, Kentucky; three grandson and three granddaughters; also, by other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life visitation will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Service will then be conducted at 12:00 noon in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Committal services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent in honor of Debbie to the Morley Church of God.
