Devin Alan Busby, 19, passed away surrounded by his family and friends at his home in Duncan on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 30, at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 1, at New Hope Baptist Church West with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Municipal Cemetery with Bob Busby, Dylan Busby, Ryan Chastain, Alberto Rojas, Jordan Talley, and Nathan Vargas serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Travis Haragan, Tyler Haragan, Taylor Haragan, and Jesse Chastain.
Devin and his twin brother Dylan were born in Oklahoma City on November 19, 2004 to Robert and Sabrina (Haragan) Busby. In 2023, he graduated from Duncan High School where he was a member of the soccer team. Though his time here was brief, Devin made the most of it. He loved to eat, playing golf with friends, riding motorcycles, and making people laugh. On June 29, 2024, he married the love of his life, Kyndle Lanae Chastain.
Devin's life made a profound impact on those he knew and loved. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, friendship, and cherished memories.
Preceded in death by his grandmother, Billie Haragan, Devin is survived by his wife, Kyndle; parents, Bob and Sabrina Busby; brother, Dylan Busby; sister, Payton Busby; grandparents: Fred and Kelly Haragan of Ada, Bob and Sherry Busby of Waurika, Judy Stanley of Pauls Valley; nephew, Xavier Pardo; and many aunts and uncles.
