Stephen Borgogno Obituary

Stephen “Steve” Michael Borgogno, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 8, 2025. Born in Monterey Park, California, Steve grew up in La Puente and graduated from Pomona Catholic High School in 1957.

He proudly served in the National Guard before beginning a distinguished 33-year career with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, retiring as Battalion Chief.
Steve married the love of his life, Diana Jean (Jeanie), and together they raised their sons Tony (Grace) and Mate' (Krista). He was a proud “Papa” to seven grandsons: Brett, Blake, Ty, Tatem, Stephen, Zachary, and Brandon.

Steve was known for his strength, loyalty, sense of humor, and love for family. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling the world with Jeanie, cheering on his grandsons at their games, and watching Dodgers baseball.

He leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and devotion to family and community. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
