I moved in to the apartment next door to Don when I was 8 months pregnant. My daughter is now 5. I'll always remember him in his chair sitting outside enjoying a warm day. When I was working outside on various projects, he would talk to me and tell me stories. He would also keep my little one amused by talking to her in her stroller or playpen. Don always seemed to know the latest news about the other neighbors. That man never missed a thing. I have missed him not being next door and I will never forget him or his stories of days long gone.
