Donald "Don" E. Fuquay, 60, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.
Don was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 8, 1964 to the late Milton Eugene "Skip" and Betty Katherine (Dill) Fuquay. He was a graduate of North High School. Don worked at Memmer Tile, Fulton Tile and retired from Fulkerson Tile after many years of service. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #224 and the Bricklayers Local 4 IN/KY Evansville Chapter. Don enjoyed NASCAR, NHRA Drag racing, and muscle cars. He enjoyed coaching and watching his son, Tanner play baseball at the Stringtown Baseball Field. Don was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all, Don loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He will be greatly missed.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Angela Jenkins of Evansville, IN; daughter, McKenzie Fuquay; son, Tanner Fuquay; sister, Margaret Morgan; grandson, Carmello Chase; and by nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Patrick Fuquay and Mike Fuquay.
A celebration of Don's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until service time on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209.
