Donald Greenbaum, 
Monroe, Utah

     Donald Howard Greenbaum, 88 passed away September 10, 2024 in Richfield, Utah. He was born on January 17, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois to Howard Bernard Greenbaum and Cora Louise Behm. He attended and graduated from Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra, California. 
     Donald served in the First Airborn Battle Group in the 327th Infantry, Company D. While in the military, he had the assignment of jumping out of airplanes. 
     He met Connie Jean Lay from Marysvale, Utah and they were married on November 19, 1960. The family moved from California to Utah in 1974.       Don worked in the grocery business and eventually retired from Frito Lay Company after 20 years. He was known in the community affectionately as the "Frito Lay Man".  
     He loved to bowl on leagues in his free time where he met many friends. He was a member of the Monroe Lion's Club for many years where he served the community in many ways. One of his favorite activities was throwing candy to the kids at Monroe's 24th of July Parade.  
     He is survived by his wife Connie; daughters: Tina Louise (Rodney) Manwill, Mary Ellen (Thomas Richey) Poulson; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Joann Costello.  We will miss him.
     Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monroe 4th Ward Chapel. Viewings: Thursday evening at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield, from 6-7 p.m. or Friday morning at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral Directors: Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Burial will be in the Thompsonville Cemetery at about 2:00 p.m.
