Donald Towe Obituary

Donald James Towe, 70, husband of Tracey Moon Towe, of Seneca, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Don was the son of the late James O'dell Towe and Ruth Garrison Towe. Don retired from Upstate Insurance in Seneca, SC. Prior to his career with Upstate Insurance, he was in the construction field where he was a member of the Home Builders Association. He was also part of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce and the Habitat for Humanity. Don was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension where he was the Senior Warden for two years and was a member of the Vestry.
In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his son: Kevin Towe (Sara) of Woodstock, GA; daughter: Amy Towe (Jonathan Gantt) of Seneca; brother: Greg Towe (Lisa) of Seneca; two grandchildren: Landry and Bowen Towe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his sisters: Sandra Jeanette Towe and Amy Marie Towe.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
