Sydney Storman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Feldman Mortuary - Denver on Nov. 5, 2025.
Obituary of Sydney Storman
Sydney Janice Fox Storman, a vibrant spirit known for her warmth, love of the arts, and delightful zest for life, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 81.
Born on March 24, 1944, to parents Milton Fox and Anne Slotoroff, Sydney embraced every chapter of her life with enthusiasm. She cultivated a deep and abiding passion for the theater, finding joy and wonder in the magic of the stage. Sydney was an enthusiastic traveler who sought out new experiences and treasured memories from destinations far and wide including London, Japan, France and Switzerland. She loved sports and cheered for her Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avs during good seasons and bad, and she always had love in her heart for her New York Yankies.
Sydney's greatest love, however, was her family. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Susan Giovannotto and Alexandra Storman, and her beloved grandchildren, Salvatore, Hannah and Massimo Giovannotto, who will carry on her legacy of strength and joy. She was a cherished mother and grandmother whose love and nature shaped the lives of her children.
Sydney's bright presence, infectious laugh, and beautiful, "take no crap" spirit will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her memory will continue to inspire those who loved her to seek out beauty and culture in the world, catch a great musical or play, and always be loyal to your teams, even when they lose.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Feldman Mortuary (livestream available on the Feldman Mortuary YouTube channel); interment will immediately follow the chapel service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Susan and Allie will be welcoming guests to a shiva celebration of life from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Allie's home, 16750 Alzere Place, Parker, CO 80134.
Sydney was a generous supporter of the ASPCA, Nature Conservancy, the National Holocaust Museum and the Denver Center Theater Company. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Sydney's honor.
