JoAnne Roberts Obituary

JoAnne Roberts, age 72 of Campbellsburg, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 in her home.

Mrs. Roberts was born November 18, 1952 in Hazard Kentucky, the daughter of Bill Mitchell and Frieda Hogston Mitchell. JoAnne loved attending church on Sundays, she was a member of the Church of Christ of Indianapolis. She loved planting flowers in her yard and loved helping others. She was kind and humble and loved her friends and her family.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her son, George Goss (Kristy) of Bargersville, her two daughters, Shannon Palmer (Scott) of Campbellsburg and Lisa Immel (Jimmie) of Attica, her brother, Ron Mitchell (Debbie Brown) of Madison, fourteen grandchildren: Cory, Cody and Collin Goss, Matthew, Warren and Evan Palmer, Jessica and Erica Klindt, Ashley, Anessa, Ariel and Warren Immel, Shelby and David Roberts, and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her husband, David Roberts, who passed away on July 31, 2014, her parents, and her brothers, Bill Mitchell Jr. and Kenneth Mitchell.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Weathers Funeral Home at 11:00a.m. Visitation will also be on Thursday, from 9:00a.m until the time of service. Burial will take place at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
