Donna Neil Obituary

Born October 10th1966 to Robert and Carolyn Gomeringer. Donna was raised in the small town of Smyrna and graduated from Smyrna High School.
Donna joined the American Legion Ambulance, Station 64 in November of 1997 sparking a desire for public service. She served in many compacities including Ambulance Captain until earning her lifetime membership. As a seasoned EMT, Donna has worked at multiple agencies over the years. In 2014 Donna obtained her National Registry Paramedic and rode with the Kent & Queen Anne Rescue Squad. Donna continued her education by obtaining her Nursing License and working as a Nurse in a local ER.
When not saving lives, she could be found in a flower bed, gardening, or in line at Dunkin getting a fresh coffee.
Donna had 3 wonderful children who gave her 7 grandchildren. Donna lived wrapped around their fingers.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Neil, son Christopher Tippitt, son Jason Mills, daughter Jennifer (Brandon) McGinnis, bonus son Dallas Neil. Her grandchildren James, Josh, Jordan, Makenzie, McGavin, Payton, Emma.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 from 11 to 1 PM in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 1 PM. Burial will be private.
