Donophan Price Obituary

Mr. Price grew up in Columbus, Ga and was a proud graduate of Auburn University. After graduating from Auburn, Don and his family moved to Newnan, Ga where he began a career at GE Power Systems. Don then earned his Masters of Business Administration from Georgia Tech after gaining employment with Compaq Computer Corp (later to become Hewlett Packard where he worked for 22 years). Most recently, he was Director of Strategy High Performance Compute and AI at Hewlett Packard Enterprises. Don was always an avid learner who loved his family, music, and aviation. Don loved to share his knowledge on any subject and was always ready to explain something to anyone at any given time.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Casandra Price Kinney.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Davis Price; sons, Donophan "Trey" Price III (Jessie), Matthew D. Price (Holly), and Elijah Price; daughters, Addinae Price, Carleigh Price and Melanie Baker Johnston; and his grandchildren Georgia Price, Wyatt & Allie James Price, and Caydence & Maddux Johnston; and many extended family members and friends who were like family.
Instead of a traditional funeral, Mr. Price wanted to have a celebration of life for his family, friends, and loved ones to have time together.
