Doris Jean (Fryman) Ealey died on January 5,2025 in Maumee, Ohio. Doris was born to the late Emmett (Baldy) and Beatrice Fryman on November 29,1931 in Toledo, Ohio.
Doris attended school in McClure and graduated in the class of 1949. Some of Doris' ancestors settled in McClure before the Civil War. Doris married Joseph William (Bill) Ealey and they were
divorced. He preceded her in death in 2014.
During junior high Doris talked her parents into buying a used piano for $15, and this led to 70 years playing and enjoying the piano and organ. Doris liked many types of music and was a huge fan of Elvis, especially his gospel music. She enjoyed 500 and 1000 piece puzzles, and doing crochet.
Doris is survived by her children, Thomas (Jean), Timothy and Terri; grandchildren, Jeremy, Tom, Julianne, Timothy, Tanner, and Jenna; great grandchildren are Jacob, lsaiah, Evelyn, Skyler, Gavin, Greyson, Elijah and River; and many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elaine Johnson and Mary Lou Weimer, and a brother John Fryman.
There will be a memorial gathering at Rodenberger-Grey Funeral Home, McClure, Ohio on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Rodenberger-Gray Funeral Home, McClure.
