Clark, Douglas Merrill, age 85, of Gladeville, TN died December 28, 2023. Douglas was born in Penn Yan, NY and was the son of the late, Orion Clark and Neva Conley Clark. He was a former National Guardsman, Volunteer Fireman with the Potter, NY Fire Department and former Highway Superintendent for the Town of Potter, NY. Douglas was also preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Clark; son, James Clark; son-in-law, Perry Langford; grandson, Tanner Langford; brother, Ronald Clark; sister, Gail Carter and brothers-in-law, Richard Close and William Carter.

He is survived by:
Children – Teresa Clark, Michele Langford and David (Gennifer) Clark
Grandchildren – David "PJ" Clark, Cody Clark, Hunter Clark and Alexandria (Shawn) Perrigo
Great-grandchildren – Jackson Perrigo, Karter Perrigo and Cash Perrigo
Sister – Janice Close
Sister-in-law – Lois Clark
Brothers-in-law – John (Joyce) Holland and Robert (Mary Lou) Campbell
Many nieces and nephews
Caregiver – Lisa Clark

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel Burial will be at Nettle Valley Cemetery in Potter, NY at a later date. Pallbearers will be David "PJ" Clark, Cody Clark, Hunter Clark and Shawn Perrigo. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Perrigo, Cask Perrigo, David Clark, Sr. and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Potter, NY Fire Department or the Rushville Lions Club.
