Doyle Matthew Gautreau passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 91. He was a resident of St. Amant, LA.
Doyle retired from the United States Air Force where he proudly served our country for 20 years. He served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. After he retired from the military he worked for the Mississippi State Tax Commission.
He is survived by his partner of 29 years, Annette Tucker; his son, Doyle “Chip” Matthew Gautreau, Jr. and his partner, Ann Crawford; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor John Gautreau and Agnes Babin Gautreau; and siblings, Argelie Kling, Herman Gautreau, Wilbert Gautreau, Dick Gautreau, Verbie Porrier, and Agnes Becnel.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 9:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.
