William Mowbray Obituary
Bill served in the Army for 2 years and later joined the State Highway Administration in Caroline County where he worked for 36 years as a heavy equipment operator and an instructor.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Joan whom he was married to for 63 years; daughter Beth Prouse and husband Drew; daughter Jennifer Walter and husband Tom; as well as brothers, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 1pm at Framptom Funeral home in Federalsburg. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at noon. Burial will be at 2pm at Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery with a reception following at Preston Lions Club.
