Duane "Duey" E. Tracy, 82, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away on July 4, 2025.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, Iowa. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is assisting the family.
Duey was born on March 31, 1943, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Edward John and Mildred (Duccini) Tracy. Duey honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 – 1966. He was united in marriage to Gloria Bennett on February 6, 1971, at Holy Spirit Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They were married for 38 years until her passing in 2009. He worked in numerous departments for the City of Dubuque for 35 years.
Duey is survived by his children Amy (Tod) Wolter and Mark Tracy; daughter-in-law, Katie Tracy; grandchildren, Nicole Wolter, Katie Wolter, Rachel Wolter, Kara (Michael) Coyle, Madalyn Tracy, Luke Tracy, and Noah Tracy; eight great-grandchildren; nine brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gloria; son, Jeff Tracy; granddaughter, Hailey Tracy; and two sisters.
