Eddie Dean Drouillard, known by his friends and family as "Doc", passed away on March 21, 2025 at the VA Hospital in Wichita. Doc was born in
Augusta, KS on September 8, 1941 to John Glen and Enid Venita Americus (Turner) Drouillard. Eddie served in the United States Army after graduating from High School in
Augusta, KS. After his discharge from the Army he took up welding with his Dad and Uncles on the pipeline. He was a member of the Pipeliners Union 798. He worked for United Steel as a welder for eight years before retiring. Eddie had many friends and his favorite pastime was fishing. He was known for his ornery nature and was always joking around. Eddie's Christian faith was a very important part of his life as well. Eddie is survived by: his significant other, Marie Bonnell of 28 years; ex-wife, Rhonda (Deegan) Srna; daughters, Eydie Denise Drouillard Kingsley, Alana Renee Drouillard, and Billie Todd-Ball (Landon); granddaughters, Jessica Pectol (Neal Tarkington), Haylie Newell (Logan), Kylie Quigg (Cole Calvin), Karlie Drouillard, Sydney Vielmas (Julio), Rylee Drouillard, Jessica Lynn Mason (John); grandsons, Kirk Drouillard (Jasa Ramsay), Chad Kingsley (Jasmin), Alex Houston, Jared Knox, Guy Jerome Bosley, Jeremiah Todd (Katie), and Jebediah Parrish; 32 great grandchildren; nieces, Dana, Mary, Lisa, Jo; and nephews, Eddie Glen, Randy (Ingrid); and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Enid Drouillard; sisters, Ruth Guest and Connie Jo Lee; his son, John Edward Vernon Drouillard; and a nephew, Sean Devlin Downing. Viewing is Friday, March 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Headley Funeral Chapel and funeral is on Saturday, March 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Church,
