Edna Maxine Tanner, age 83, of Chico, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at a nursing facility. Edna was born December 12, 1932, in McAllen, Texas, to James and Mary Graves McNeal. Her hobbies included reading and spending time with her grandchildren that she loved with all her heart.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Catherine Meeves and husband, Edward of Chico; daughter, Wilma Schiller and husband, Darrell of Temple; son-in-law, Timothy Titsworth of Cameron; grandchildren, Cherilyn Meeves, Alisha Starnes, Matthew Meeves, Timothy J. Titsworth, Amy Fink, and Erin Williams; and eight great-granchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Tanner; daughter, Wanda Titsworth; her parents; sister, Mildred Colyer; and a brother, James Thomas McNeal.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016, at the Hilltop Assembly of God - Boyd.
Interment : Springtown Cemetery
Pastor Bill E. Fitch will officiate.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel
