Elaine Willis Obituary
Born in Macon on September 11,1963, Elaine had lived most of her life in Twiggs County. She had a huge heart, and would help anyone who needed it. She chose a career as an Elderly Caregiver, where she spent most of her life providing medical care and comfort to numerous elderly patients who were in the final stages of their journey here on Earth.
She was the daughter of the late Kay Stevens Kitchens Clowers and Newell Ivey "Plow Boy" Kitchens of Cochran.
She was preceded in death by her brother Donald "Bo" Kitchens of Twiggs County; grandparents Thelma "Dude" and William "Pop" Kitchens of Cochran; cousins Tony Kitchens and Vickie Michelle Morgan; Uncles, William L. "WL" Kitchens of Macon and Charles Kitchens of Jacksonville, FL.
Survivors: her husband and love of her life, Robert Willis of Twiggs County; her beloved sons, Sandy Elks(Macy) of Warner Robins and Brett Elks of Dublin; her precious grandchildren that lovingly called her "Nonna", Dane Elks, Kael Elks, Bree Elks, Brylee Elks and Brett Elks, Jr.; her sister and best friend, Sharon Lorree Kitchens of Twiggs County; bonus mom, Peggy Kitchens; aunts, Doris Kitchens Morgan of Cochran, Lucy Kitchens Floyd of Macon, and Edna Kitchens Roberts of Macon, numerous nieces and nephews, and too many cousins and not enough room to list them all.
The family will greet friends after the service Friday at Longstreet Church Cemetery.
