Eleanor Leora (Reynolds) Bollinger, 92 of Sebring passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Crandall Medical Center. Eleanor was born in Alliance, Ohio on November 2, 1932 to the late John and Irene (Phillips) Reynolds. She was a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School in the Class of 1950. She worked for Ohio Edison for 43 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Sebring United Methodist Church, Smith Grange and the Lace Guild. She taught ceramics for many years and was a talented china painter and lace-maker. In her retirement, she volunteered at Salem Regional Medical Center and at Copeland Oaks' Acorn Shop.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Lester Bollinger, her husband of 57 years, whom she married on November 24, 1956. She is survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Copeland Oaks Assisted Living, Crandall Medical Center's Memory Lane and Aultman Alliance Hospice for their kindness and care. Memorial contributions can be made to Aultman Alliance Hospice, 270 East State Street, Suite 130, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
A funeral service will take place at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, March 21st at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Martin officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Beloit.
