SPRINGHILL, FL - Randy Cox, 67, passed away on Feb. 1, 2025, in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico along with his loving wife Norma Jean Deforge-Cox. Born on Sept. 26, 1957, in St. Albans, Randy lived a life marked by dedication to his career, love for his family, and a passion for the outdoors.
Randy spent most of his adult life working at IBM, where his hard work and commitment earned him numerous promotions and awards. His contributions to the company and his field were widely recognized, reflecting his strong work ethic and dedication.
Beyond his professional achievements, Randy found great joy in traveling and sharing life's adventures with his beloved spouse, Norma. Their bond was one of deep companionship and love. Tragically, Norma Jean passed away just a few hours after Randy.
Randy also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing, as well as working on projects around the house. These hobbies brought him happiness and allowed him to spend time doing what he loved most.
He leaves behind his children Jason; Gregory and his wife, Pamela; Randi; eight grandchildren; step-sons Daren; Dana and his wife, Stacey; and three step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Sharon (Jim), Kelly (Sonja), Jim, and Arla.
Randy was predeceased by his mother Eunice Messier Benham and father Floyd Cox.
Randy was loved and admired by those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Graveside Services will be held June 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the Grand Isle Cemetery, 188 U.S. 2, Grand Isle, VT 05458.
