Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2024 at St. John Baptist Church with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Rev. Joshua Thomas will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown was born August 6, 1953 to the Marion Echols & Opal Ackey Kirkland in Carrollton, Georgia. She retired with Hamilton State Bank and West Hall High School as a substitute teacher.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Brown; mother, Opal Kirkland; grandchildren, Jaylon Brown, Elyn Wright, & Doron (Deuce) Wright; and son-in-law, Doron Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Larue Brown; daughter, Erica Brown Wright; and father, Marion Echols.

We went out to eat at Atlanta Seafood ,then she carried me to her favorite thrift store. She was soo sweet asking me is there anywhere else you want to go? `We would talk on the phone about experiences with sub teaching. I
will miss her along with her family missing her. God bless and comfort Andrea and family
