Obituary of Elena Branistareanu
Elena Branistareanu, 71, of Oroville, passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2024, surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, and sister.
Elena was born on October 7, 1952, in Romania. On November 3, 1973, she married Gheorghe Branistareanu, with whom she shared a beautiful life and seven children: Teofil, Gabriel, Daniel, Beniamin, Andrei, Ioan, and Ana. Elena leaves behind her beloved husband, six surviving children, and ten cherished grandchildren.
Elena was a devoted wife, mother, and "Mamaie" who dedicated her life to caring for her family with boundless love and selflessness. Known for her honesty, compassion, and nurturing spirit, Elena had a gift for making her home a place of warmth and welcome. She was an exceptional cook and took great joy in gathering her family for meals she had lovingly prepared. Deeply spiritual, Elena spent much of her time praying for her children and singing Romanian hymns, always holding her faith and her family close to her heart.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Ramsey Funeral Home, located at 1175 Robinson Street, Oroville, California, 95965. Her Burial Service to follow.
