Elizabeth Ann Cornelius , 58, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.
Funeral services will be held at Vance Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 21, 2016 beginning at 2PM EST, with Rev. Joe Williams officiating. The interment will conclude the service at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday at Vance Memorial Chapel from 1P.M. until 2P.M. EST.
Mrs. Cornelius was born February 10, 1957 in Greenville, MS. She loved and cared deeply for her children, choosing to raise them alone after the death of her husband and their father. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother Marvel, husband James Lee Cornelius and brother Edward Hall.
Survivors include her children, Gloria and George Kirkland of Seale, Denise and Derek Frazier of Smith Station, Jimmy and Janita Cornelius of Seale and Bobbie Cornelius of Phenix City; siblings, Agnes Johnson, Kelsie Hall, Homer Hall, Mary Wood and Debra Hubbard; grandchildren, James Kirkland, Kala Russell, Kearstin Frazier, Casey Frazier, Ashlynn Kirkland, Jimmy Lee, Tucker, Mason and Kathryn Cornelius; great-grandchildren, Kayden Lee Hack and Jenna Kirkland; many nieces , nephews and other extended family and friends
