Ellen Bulla Potter

Mrs. Ellen Bulla Potter previously of Sanford, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home in Guysville, Ohio surrounded by family.
She was born September 30th,1931 in Vander, Cumberland County, North Carolina to Yandell and Violett Bulla.
Ellen completed her schooling at Wingate College and went on to be a secretary at Fort Bragg, where she met her husband, Irvin. She enjoyed her role as a substitute teacher in North Carolina for several years. She loved taking walks, crocheting/knitting, spending time at the beach and offering medical advice.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Irvin of 63 years, and her brother Joseph Thomas Sr.
She is survived by a brother, William Bulla and a sister Kathy Bulla Floyd. Five children: Cynthia Conavay, Stephen (Sherry) Potter, Sharon (Rex) Manning, Greg (Marlene) Potter, and Jeff (Lori) Potter. Ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts as we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with Family and is at peace in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the Carthage Community Church in Guysville, Ohio.
The family would like to thank Shrivers Hospice and Anna and Melia for their care and support and White - Schwarzel Funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Carthage Community Church 21090 Potter Rd, Guysville, Ohio 45735 in her memory.
