Obituary:
Emory Darden, Jr. was born in Atlanta, GA on February 27, 1943. He was known by his family and friends as "Junior." He attended East Point Elementary School and South Fulton High School, where he played football and baseball. After high school he played Semi-professional baseball for a short time. He was a lifelong fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons, and he looked forward to joking with his siblings each game day. Junior was always known for making jokes and laughing. He loved to be with his family and spend time with them during the holidays.
Junior was preceded in death by his father, Emory Darden, Sr. and his mother, Elizabeth Darden, and one sister Brenda Joyce Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Gregory Darden (Edith), two sisters Karen Kempson and Wanda Gail Brown (Paul), and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Junior will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those that knew and loved him.
