Ernest Ostrander Obituary
He was born on April 30, 1940 in Richmondville, New York.
Ernest worked for Pete Rickard Lure's in Carlisle, New York for 27 years. He had also worked for Kivort Steel in Warnerville for many years.
He was a lifetime member of Whitetails Unlimited. He loved hunting, collecting junk, trucks, and spending time with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His daughter, Lori Ostrander predeceased him.
Ernest is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diana M. Schoeffler Ostrander; their children, Ernest Betts of Warnerville, NY, Jeff Betts of West Virginia, Tom Ostrander of Richmondville, NY, Ed and Terry Bradt of Cobleskill, NY, Donna and Bruce Davis of Cobleskill, NY, Dan and Danielle Bradt of Cobleskill, NY; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00am at Richmondville Rural Cemetery with Robert Stark officiating.
