Eugene “Gene” Vaubel, 80, of Wooster, died December 8, 2024 at Wayne County Care Center, in Wooster, Ohio.

Eugene was born September 26, 1944 in Millersburg, Ohio to Wilbert Vaubel and Harriett {Patterson} Vaubel-Fox.

He married Lois {Mann} Vaubel on September 11, 1967. 

Eugene retired from Rubbermaid in Wooster for 37 years in the year 2000. He enjoyed riding his Harley, tinkering in his garage and working on his Farmall.

Eugene will be deeply missed by his wife; children Connie Blacksten of Dalton, OH and Eugenia (Larry) M. Musselman of Wooster, OH; grandchildren; Cheyenne Musselman, Bryan and Daniel Britton; great-grandchildren Jace, Bryce, Connor, Carson, Calleigh; sisters Marie (Ron) F. Ruksukis of Delaware, Virginia A. Klingerman of Holmesville, OH, Beatrice (Joe) Smuck of Buckeye, IA and Irene Roush of Wooster, OH.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sandra Kay Britton; brothers William “Bill” C. Vaubel, Ted J. Vaubel and sons-in-law Logan Blacksten and Ted Britton.
