She was born June 9, 1948 in Valls Creek, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Henry Harrington and Nellie Rose Harrington. She worked many years as a dry cleaner for Swans Cleaners in Richlands, Virginia. Florence loved spending time with her family and enjoying her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Willard Lee Peery; daughter Rachael Whitt and grandson Noah Peery, and brother Steve Harrington.
Those that remain to carry on her spirit are her:
Daughter, Robin Lee Tabor and husband, Mark of Bandy, VA
Son, Mark Peery and wife, Jennifer of Rock, WV
Sister, Jenny Murray of Baptist Valley, VA
Grandchildren, Nikki Deel, Josh Tabor, Justin Tabor, Kelsey Delgado, Shanel Crouse, Levi Peery, Jessi Whitt, Zachary Whitt.
Great-grandchildren, Keyonna Cordle, Cayden Cordle, Easton Whitt, Landon Whitt, Felix Cobb, Nathalie Delgado, Naomi Delgado, Alex Cobb and Lillie Gayle Glaze.
The Funeral Service for Florence Peery will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, Virginia with the Rev. Daniel Bradley officiating and Rev. Danny Short assisting. Friends may begin calling at 1:00 pm at the funeral home until time of the service.
