Timothy “Tim” Lamar Miller, age 61, of Carrollton passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was born in Douglasville on July 24, 1964. Mr. Miller was the son of the late, William “Bill” Claude Miller and the late, Mary Josephine (Pate) Miller. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Miller.
Tim dedicated many years of service to Dalton Carpet Outlet in Carrollton, where he earned a reputation as a skilled floor covering installer. Outside of work, he found joy in nature, often spending time hunting and fishing. Tim was also a talented artist, creating many wonderful drawings. Above all, he treasured his family, being a wonderful uncle who will be deeply missed.
Tim is survived by his brother, Steve Miller of Radcliff, Kentucky; his sister and brother-in-law, Jenny and Rickey Stover of Carrollton; his nephew, Billy Miller; and his nieces, Starry and Justin Hopper, and Brandy and Steve Burke. Additionally, he leaves behind five great-nieces and great-nephews, one great-great niece, one great-great nephew, and numerous other relatives.
In honoring Tim’s wishes, he will be cremated.
