Born on March 17, 1922 in Hingham. Frances was the daughter of the late Earl and Bernice Gardner. She was predeceased by her siblings: Barbara and Henry Peterson of Weymouth, Dorothy and Joseph Demontigney, Jean and Paul Gordon of Rockland, Frank Gardner of Whitman, Jack and his late wife Ruth of Hingham, Lois and Richard Lanzilotta of Hanover, and Carol and Robert Olhson. Frances was also preceded in death by her loving husband, William Boudreau Sr., her son William Boudreau Jr., and her daughter Patricia F. Gokey.
She is survived by her son Gerald Boudreau and his wife Janet of Weymouth; her daughter Joan Boudreau of Weymouth; her grandchildren Lauren Howland and her husband Scott of Pembroke, Brian Gokey of Sandwich, Matthew Boudreau and his wife Michelle of Kingston, and Derek Boudreau and his wife Mary of Weymouth; as well as ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Frances had a passion for travel and loved spending time by the ocean. In her early years she worked at Armstrong Corporation in Braintree. She also enjoyed a fulfilling 20-year career at ElectroSwitch until her retirement.. She loved having company and cherished every moment with her family. An active member of a Bible study group, Frances formed many lifelong friendships and was a devoted member of Calvary Chapel of Rockland. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the family members and caregivers who provided support and care for Frances in her final years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Chapel, 175 Market Street, Rockland. Relatives and friends are invited to join in celebrating Frances's remarkable life.
In Lieu of Flowers any donations will be made to the Norwell VNA Hospice

To the Boudreau family I share my deepest condolences. Know that Fran is now at peace with the LORD.
Fran you will be so missed. My friend and neighbor for well over 45+years. God Bless You and May You Rest at the Hands of the Lord.

I will always remember her at the many family gatherings, from cookouts to birthdays to Christmas time. She always enjoyed family and friends. She will be missed.

She was a very loving and kind grandmother. She loved to talk and always had great relationships with all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always took care of them just like her own kids.
