Linda Martin Obituary

Linda Frazee Martin, 89, of Washington, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. She was born December 8, 1935, in Amity, a daughter of the late Carroll W. Frazee Sr. and Lucille Dunn Frazee. Linda was a 1953 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She retired from Washington Federal Bank, where she worked as an assistant vice president of collections and loan counselor. Linda was an active member of Fairhill Manor Church. Her church and faith were a significant part of her life. She enjoyed reading, walking, traveling, and playing cards, but most of all, spending time with family and friends. Surviving are a son, James D. "J.D." Martin III; a daughter, Lisa Martin Siler; three grandchildren, Jakob Siler, Jeffrey (Darcell) Siler, and Lacey (Nathan) Shipman; eight great-grandchildren, Dalton, Dawson, Olyvia, Liam, Anna, Jordyn, Ryker, and Colton; and two brothers, Carroll W. (Brenda) Frazee Jr. and J.D. Frazee; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a son, J. Shawn Martin; and a sister, Joan Frazee Beddow. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, in Fairhill Manor Christian Church, 351 Montgomery Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Memorial donations may be sent to Make-A-Wish Foundation at www.wish.org; or to the Washington Area Humane Society at www.washingtonpashelter.org
