Breaux Bridge - Francis "Boy" Gallagher, Jr., 89, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, in Breaux Bridge.
Francis, affectionately known as "Boy", was the owner and operator of Boy's Lounge for over 20 years. He was known for bringing donuts and food to everyone around town. Boy would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He could often be found having coffee with his friends at Diesi's. Boy loved to visit, listen to French music and he was an avid pool player. His greatest passion was watching old western movies. Boy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Alfred Gallagher (Mela); sisters, Bobbie G. Granger and Aline Hesterly; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Gallagher, Sr. and Laura Bergeron Gallagher; brother, Robert James "Jimmy" Gallagher; and sisters, Lena Gallagher Martin and Freda Gallagher Thibodeaux.
