Frank was born on February 15, 1974, in Kotzebue to the late Carl Sheldon and Virginia Jennings. When Frank was 17 years old, he told his mom that he wanted to join the Army and the National Guard. he served many years and was honorably discharged. Frank also worked at the Red Dog Mine for many years. During his younger years of his life, he loved to be out in the country, hunting for his family and in his free time, he loved to play the guitar and drums. Frank was a soft-spoken guy, so you always listened when he talked. he also loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandson Anthoney who is his pride and joy.
Frank is survived by Heather, the mother of his children, his children Frank Sheldon Jr. Ethel & Azaundre Edwards, Virginia and Hunter Sheldon. His grandson Anthoney Edwards, sister Meda Sheldon, Brother Darren and Crystal Jennings, Nieces Crystal and Sinaana Sheldon, Khloe and Kaira Jennings, uncles and aunts Hene & Christine Barger, Herman & Mary Booth Barger, Lee & Patsy Stalker, Tillie. Mary, Jeffrey David, Dennis and Kirk Jennings and to many cousins to name. Frank is preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Virginia Jennings, dad Carl Sheldon, grandparents Herman Sr. & Gladys Barger, Raven & Alice Sheldon and many uncles and aunts.
In Appreciation our family would like to thank the following organizations, NANA Regional Corporation, Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation and Maniilaq Association. We would like to extend our appreciation to all of you that supported us through prayers. A special thank you to all involved in the final preparations for putting our dad to rest. All of our family and friends that helped with many tasks. May God richly bless each and every one of you. We are grateful and blessed.
