Fredell "Cookie" Covey, passed away peacefully at JourneyCare Hospice on Thursday, August 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Cookie was the beloved wife of the late Richard G. Covey. Loving mother of Lynda Covey and Denise (Russell) Rau. Proud grandmother of Jordyn (Robert) Drager Jr., Kathryn Quagliano, Sydney Rau and Morgan Rau. Great Grandmother of Ryleigh and McKenna Drager.
Cookie loved life and cared deeply for her family. She took great pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow into the people they are today. She gave so much love and support and was always their biggest fan. There was not a person in Cookie's life that did not benefit from her large heart in some way. Cookie lived life to the fullest and will be missed immensely.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the fabulous team at JourneyCare. We appreciate all the care and support you gave to our family. Cookie's journey home could not have been more peaceful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association www.act.alz.org would be appreciated.
