Gail Sue Brunig, 81, of Stover, MO, passed away on Sunday March 24, 2024, in her home. She was born on July 10, 1942, in Kansas City, MO to Cyril and Donna (Paris) Hardin. Sue was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Sue loved living at the Lake of the Ozarks. She owned a restaurant on the lake and most of her time was spent running her business. After retiring, Sue loved to read, do puzzles, and loved her dog Holly, who passed right before her.
Sue is survived by her son Mike Anderson and his wife Gina, brother Patrick Hardin and his wife Linda, nephew Shawn Hardin, and niece Amity Hardin. She is preceded in death by her husband Merlin Brunig, parents Cyril and Donna Hardin, and brother David Hardin
A visitation for Sue will be held on Tuesday, April 02, 2024, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 E 39th St S Independence, MO 64055) with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am. She will be placed to rest following service at Six Mile Cemetery (26005 E Blue Mills Rd, Sibley, MO 64088)To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
