Gail David Wall, age 80, of Myton, passed away peacefully November 28, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 10, 1943, in Salt Lake City, to LaVerne J and Grace Hansen Wall.  He attended and graduated from Olympus High School where he was on the swim team.
He married Judith Ann Halfhill and she later died.  He married Mary Kay Hogensen, and she later died.  He married Emma Mae Holt and she later died.
Gail had been a cattle farmer for most of his life and also a firefighter/paramedic and worked as a fire chief for the Bureau of Reclamation.  His favorite job was that of ski instructor, however.  He was a prolific oil painter in the style of Bob Ross, and displayed many of his paintings at the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, prospecting for gold, and cooking ribs and fish (his specialties).  He was a major Mountain Dew lover, but hated bananas, and was proud of the fact that he hadn’t touched one since 1948! He could fix practically anything, including TVs, radios, farm equipment and was looking forward to refurbishing a boat for fishing.  He loved helping others including volunteering at the local elementary school to help kids read.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and really enjoyed going to the Vernal Temple.  Gail loved his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.
Gail is survived by his children, David (Linn) Wall, Roy; Glen (Cathy) Wall, Myton; Wendy (Ray) Hodel, Chelsea, Michigan; 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marit Smith, Tooele; Ilene (Blaine) Bowles, Kearns; Larry Wall, Beaver; his best friend, Phil Wilkerson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Wall; an infant son, Johnny Wall; grandson, Glen Henrie; his wives; parents; and a sister, LaVern Fisco.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Myton Chapel.  There will be a viewing there that morning from 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the Redwood Memorial Cemetery in Salt Lake City at 2:30 p.m.
