Donna F. Brocksieck, 69, of Clayton, IL, (formerly of Camp Point, IL) passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her home.
Born January 24, 1955, Donna was the daughter of Donald L. Sr. and Margaret Conner White. She married Gene Brocksieck on September 28, 1974, in Palmyra, MO. He survives.
Donna and Gene owned and operated Hard Times II Bar & Grill in Camp Point for 14 years until her retirement. When not at the bar, Donna enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren or riding their trike. Most recently, you could find her hanging out with friends at Shorteez on the Hill in Clayton.
Survivors in addition to her husband Gene, are her children, Stephanie Sparks, Clayton, and Aaron (Kenzie) Brocksieck, Clayton; three grandchildren, Tanner Sparks, Conner Sparks, and Tristan Brocksieck; a great-granddaughter on the way; her siblings, Linda (Steve) Barker, Donald L. "Boo-Boo" White Jr., Terry (Spanky) Watkins, Judy (Tim) Stratton, and Shelly (Glenn) Bichsel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Robert E. and Nora E. Angell Brocksieck; and her brother-in-law, Richard Earl Brocksieck.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point by Rev. Sheri Renner. Burial will follow at Graymount Cemetery, Coatsburg, IL.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Lummis Hamilton Funeral Home in Camp Point.
Memorials may be made to the Village of Clayton for a tree to be planted.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Donna's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Gene, and your entire family. Donna was an incredibly wonderful and hardworking woman who will be missed by many. Sending Thoughts and Prayers out to you all. God Bless.
