Gary Allan Feick, age 71, of Mart, Texas for the last 30 years, and formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2024 at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. He was born in Akron on October 9, 1953 to Clarence and Elizabeth (Vavrek) Feick at Akron, OH. Gary was in construction originally, but moved to Texas to work at General Tire and later PCA. Gary was a dog lover and free spirit with a gentle soul who always considered others before himself. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by family and friends.
Gary is survived by his siblings Betty Sandridge, James Jim" Feick, Nancy Feick and Patricia "Patti" Feick; nieces and nephews Emily Feick-Yi, Lori Hoover, James "Jimmy" Feick, Pamela "Pam" Mellinger, Kimberly "Kim" Thomas, Randy McColley, Christine "Chris" Confere and Katharine "Kate" Sandridge; and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by parents; and significant other, Pam Lykens, who was an important part of Gary's life for many years.
Visitation will be held Friday December 20th from 12 noon to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin promptly at 1PM. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park .
