George Rowland Adams, 80, of Stuttgart passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart.
Mr. Adams was born Jan. 23, 1944, in Pine Bluff to Harvel C. Adams and Mary Elizabeth Rowland Adams. He was a graduate of DeWitt High School and attended Arkansas State University and Washington University. The life-long farmer was a Methodist.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Adams; and sister, Mary Ann Adams.
Survivors are his wife, Martha Ann Morgan Adams; son, Nathan Adams and wife Kate of McKinney, Texas; daughter-in-law, Ashley Rogers Weathers and husband Walter of Houston; two grandchildren, Sara Katherine Adams and Abigail Elizabeth Adams; nieces, Christy Duran, Katherine Kirby and Stephanie Daniels; nephew, James Carrol; and his extended family, Jay Morgan, Scott Morgan (Martha), Angie Sherman (Kevin) and Chris (Kimberly) Morgan, all of Stuttgart; grandchildren, Tripp (Kim) Morgan, Jenny (Andrew) Gill, Allie (Gary) Clark, Wynne Morgan, Miles (Olivia) Morgan, Jack (Blair) Morgan, Morgan Gill, Cole (Mallory) Morgan and Gray Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Murphy, Max, Abigal, Margo, Wilson, Camille, Ann Michael, Della, Foster and Lyla.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
