I was just reading about his uncanny ability to extract confessions , amazing law enforcement officer

Lorraine, I was saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. I will always remember Dennis as an outstanding police officer and true friend of the Mancuso family.(especially to my father Dominick) May Almighty God comfort you and your family during this time of loss as he welcomes another patriot into His Kingdom, who had such a wonderful servant's heart.

I worked with Dennis many years ago when he was a reserve patrolman at NOPD. He made a fine addition to Gretna PD. Sad to see my comrades go so young. I bid you farewell my friend and my sympathies to his loved ones.

I met Dennis back 35+ years ago at an ROCIC meeting in New Orleans and he never changed. He was a good man,and he was a brother.

Thank you all so much for the kind words and sharing loving memories of a Gretna Legend and my dad. When you offer your prayers and services to help our family it is a reflection of how much he has impacted each of us so deeply. I'm proud of him and can rest assured during these most difficult times that he really was a man of the people. He always said he could help more people by being a police officer than he could by running for a local political position. His selfless sacrifices went a long way.

You were one of akind,we all loved you as a brother and will always remember the times we spent with you,RIP Dennis,praying for your family.

It's been many years since I have seen or spoken with Dennis, and we worked well together...he as a Detective and me as Coroner's Investigator. I am very sorry to hear of his death. My prayers to his family.

I had the privilege of working with Dennis for years. Dennis was a true original. His passing is the end of an era. He loved his family, his friends and living life fully. If the world is better for you having been here, you have led a successful life. He definitely led a most successful life. Dennis touched so many lives and leaves many wonderful memories. My prayers are with his family. Dennis, my friend, you will be missed.
