Harlynn Fletcher Obituary

Harlynn Gale Fletcher, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the age of 73. Harlynn was born on May 28, 1951 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the son of William Lawrence and Betty (Plett) Fletcher. Harlynn's father was a teacher and the family moved with each new school he taught. The family moved several times throughout Oklahoma and Kansas before settling in Meeker, Oklahoma. Harlynn was a 1970 graduate of Meeker High School. Meeker is where Harlynn went to high school, where he met and married Kathy Guinn, where they made their home and where they raised their children.
Harlynn worked for many years as an electronics technician before joining his father's insurance agency. Harlynn enjoyed working with and being around people. Harlynn and Kathy were long-time members of the Meeker First Baptist Church. Harlynn loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. His favorite activity was watching movies with them. He would often cook for the family. In his spare time, Harlynn enjoyed playing computer games, working on his many projects and just enjoying his retirement.
Harlynn was preceded in death by his father, William Lawrence Fletcher.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of more than 52 years, Kathy Fletcher; his mother, Betty (Plett) Fletcher; three sons, Cliff Fletcher and his wife, Alysha, Chris Fletcher and his wife, Jaclyn and Clay Fletcher and his wife, Shala; eight grandchildren, Raley, Kaley, Alyse, Jackson, Isaac, Lucas, Arabella and Ava; one brother, Kenny Fletcher and his wife, Jane and a host of family and friends.
