Harold “Lee” England, 85, passed away peacefully at home in Livingston, Montana, on November 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Christmas Eve in 1939 to Nellie and Hasten England in Riverside, California, Lee lived a life marked by service, craftsmanship, and deep devotion to his faith and family. He graduated from Liberty High School in Brentwood, California, in 1957 and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force. After completing the Aircraft Control and Warning Operator Course at Keesler Air Force Base, he served honorably for four years.
Lee’s career was as diverse as it was accomplished. He served as a sheriff in Contra Costa County, California, drove for Delta Lines Trucking, and later started his own trucking business. He operated heavy equipment, built homes, managed the Life of Montana building in Bozeman, and ran American Bulk Oxygen for many years. A true entrepreneur at heart, he brought integrity and determination to every role he took on.
He created wonderful memories piloting his private airplanes with family and friends. He built his homes with passion, in a way that he could express care and create lasting legacies. The love he shared with his family was wholesome and everlasting.
Lee’s greatest legacy lives on in the lives of his children and grandchildren, who carry forward his spirit, strength, and kindness. His unwavering faith was the cornerstone of his life. As his earthly journey comes to a close, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he so faithfully served.
