Harold Moore Obituary
Harold Edward Moore, 74, of Jackson Maine, passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2024, at his home.
Harold was born on July 30, 1950, in Belfast Maine. He graduated from Belfast High School, served in the National Guard, and was a firefighter for the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department.
Harold is survived by his wife of 49 years and 7 months, Cheryl L. (Greenlaw) Moore of Jackson, Maine; two stepchildren Kenneth Drummond of Virginia Beach Virginia, and Susan Drummond of Jacksonville Florida; sister Caroline Knight of Monroe, brother David Moore of Swanville, sister Cynthia McIntire of Northport; his grandson Harold E. Moore III of Mariaville, several step-grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Harold is predeceased by his two sons, Howard Edward Moore II on February 4, 1980, and Harold Edward Moore II on April 28, 2020; parents Howard E. and Margaret (Dean) Moore of Swanville; brother Robert J. Moore of Swanville, and sister, Karen Moore of Bangor.
A graveside service will be held on October 12, 2024, at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery in Swanville, Maine.
