Harry William Truesdell, 82, of McConnellsville, died at 11:08 P.M. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He was born March 20, 1942, in Kissimee, Florida, a son of the late Adelbert Truesdell. Harry proudly served and was a veteran of the United States Army, he was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked adventures and traveling, he hiked Machu Picchu and throughout Ireland and Fiji. He traveled to Mexico every year, loved to dance and loved spending time with his furry companion, his dog Max.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen McNally, whom he married August 16, 2008; his children, Shannon (Drew) Tyler, Allison Wolverton, Marykathleen “Kat” Wolverton and Ronald Truesdell; grandchildren, Jack Tyler, Emilia Tyler, Stepheny Yang, Liam Townley, Ronny, Sean, Jonathan, Keirston and J.C. Truesdell.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Gary Truesdell; four brothers and two sisters.
A cremation will take place under the direction of the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
