Harvey Joseph Underwood, son of the late Paul E., Sr and Clara Edith (Love) Underwood, was born September 21, 1950, in Seymour, Missouri, and passed away October 10, 2024, at his home in Seymour. He was 74 years and 19 days of age.

 Harvey was born and raised in Seymour. He attended school in Seymour and graduated from Seymour High School in May of 1969. He worked for Hutchens Steel Plant for many years. He retired from there in 2013, but shortly after he went back to work for them part time as a security guard.

 Harvey loved being outdoors going fishing and hunting. He enjoyed partying and having a good time with family and friends.

 Besides his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Eula Marie Underwood; and two brothers, Floyd Underwood and John Underwood.

 He is survived by two sons, Jesse Underwood and Arthur Underwood and his wife, Becky; two daughters, Eula Mae Privett and her husband, Randy, and Loura Harper and her husband, Mark; two brothers Paul Underwood and Ernie Underwood and his wife, Lois; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; lots of his children’s friends who referred to him as “dad”; and many other family and friends who will miss him very much.
