Grace was more than my best friend. She was the light in a time of darkness. Grace always carried herself with so much confidence and strength. There was nothing anyone could say or do to make her back down when she was passionate about something. I am so blessed to be able to say that she was such a big part of my life. She is the most beautiful person to walk this earth and she will never be forgotten. Grace had the kind of warmth that would pull you in and make you feel safe. Not only would she make you feel safe but also seen, heard, understood, and cared for. She always thought of others before herself and she deserved to be given the world. I wish I could go back in time and change the past or fight whatever battles she was in. But I know grace and I know she would want me to keep on fighting for myself. Grace had a tender heart and she was as sweet as a teddy bear. She taught me to be myself no matter what others have to say about it. She gave me the confidence to be me. Grace will always live in my heart.
