In loving memory of Helen D. (nee Rahe) Snyder, a beloved daughter, wife mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, age 95. Helen brought light and joy to all those around her with her warm smile and gentle spirit.
Throughout her life, Helen found solace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games, cheering on her favorite teams with fervor. Helen's love for gardening evident in every bud and bloom she nurtured. Her peaceful moments were often spent watching the birds and squirrels outside her window, finding beauty in the everyday wonders of nature.
Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, cherished by her family. She was a devoted mother of Gary (Debbie) Snyder, Daniel Snyder and Diane Vasiliadis. Loving grandmother of Benjamin Ables, Michael (Michele) Ables, Johnathon (Leah) Vasiliadis, Christopher (Molly) Snyder, Jamie (Evan) Springer and Ryan (Libby) Snyder. Loving great grandmother of Adam Ables, William Ables, Oliver Vasiliadis, Arlo Vasiliadis, Charlotte Springer, Logan Springer.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl C. Snyder; her parents, Wallace and Gertrude (nee Nehus) Rahe and her siblings, Robert (late Norma) Rahe and Jean (late Don) Stange.
The visitation to celebrate Helen's life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Friday (Sept. 13) from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring and remembering the wonderful life of Helen D Snyder. May her memory continue to brighten our hearts and souls for years to come. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pink Ribbon Good. Special condolences may be expressed at www.frederickfh.com
